Neverwinter Nights
is a computer role-playing game that is by BioWare. It is
designed to be as close to pen and paper role-playing as possible. The game will
have a live human Dungeon Master making the stories more real, you can of course
also skip the DM and play pre-written modules or the single player campaign.
The game is made mostly to be a very good group multiplayer game, but many other
game types are also possible. The single player campaign and well done single
player modules will be almost just as fun as multiplayer games. The modules and
the online worlds that you will be able to play in will be made by the Aurora
Toolkit that is included in every copy of the game. So you will be able to make
your own modules or set up your own online persistent world where you are the
DM.
The toolkit has lots of different environments and with it you will be able to
create practically any world you want. The toolkit makes great looking worlds
and is really easy to use. The game will be based on the Advanced Dungeons &
Dragons 3rd Edition rules. And the single player campaign will take place in the
Forgotten Realms around and north of the city Neverwinter.
